Heavens blends the best open global models - ECMWF, GFS and ICON - with attribution to each. For every point and hour the most-skilful covering model wins, and where they disagree we say so. Never one black-box number pretending to a certainty it does not have.

Layered clouds, not one number

Low, mid and high cloud reported separately, plus the cloud base, so a bright high veil reads differently from a low grey deck sitting on the hills. The sky your users actually see, not a single 'partly cloudy'.

Precipitation with its type

Rate and accumulation together with the type - rain or snow - so a freezing morning reads as snow, not just 'precip'. The difference between a commute and a snow day, surfaced as its own field.

Thunderstorm potential, surfaced

The convective energy that feeds storms (CAPE) comes back as its own field, so an unstable afternoon can be flagged before it breaks - not inferred after the fact from a rain icon.

The longest clean horizon

Seven days at full hourly detail, out to fourteen where the models still hold skill. Where confidence runs out the series ends honestly rather than drawing a flat line into fantasy. The most detail, held as long as it stays true.

Precise sun and moon

Sunrise, sunset, twilight and the moon's phase and illumination, computed from astronomy for the exact point - the same precision the Tides product is built on, pointed at the sky.
